Lifting Equipment Level 1: Equipment Inspection

Equiptment Inspection

A basic level for the safety inspections & record keeping required in compliance with relevant National & European legislation. Includes knowledge on manufacturer's markings and codes, operator coding systems, PPE and risk assessment requirements, inspection legislation, operator guidance, equipment storage & maintenance requirements. A practical inspection exercise will also be undertaken on a range of equipment such as rope access, climbing aids and rigging aids etc.

Lifting Equipment Level 2: Equipment Examination

Equiptment Inspection

An advanced level for in-depth safety examinations by experienced equipment inspectors in compliance with relevant National & International legislation. Includes a scenario based practical examination. An understanding of examination guidance, legislation, technical information, system design & installation requirements and equipment inspection procedures, alongside an analysis of testing standards and non-destructive investigation methods.
